The Computer Resource Center (CRC) is located at first floor, Ekstrom Library and also in the Lower Level of M.I.T.C. building - the iTech Zone. The CRC offers drop-in assistance with:
- Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Access, etc
- Basic Computer Operations
- Programming languages: C, C++, C#, Java and Python
- Blackboard, ULink, e-mail
- Password and Log-In Assistance
- Wireless Access

Tutoring for computer programming courses and Microsoft Excel & Access based courses is available for currently enrolled students through the Computer Resource Centers in both Ekstrom Library and the M.I.T.C. building iTech Zone. Appointments are not needed as student helped is available on a drop in basis. Tutors
Our services are free to currently enrolled UofL students, and you don't need an appointment. Come by during the times we are open and let the tutor at the main workstation know what you need. If you need assistance while you are working through an assignment, simply raise your hand or let the tutors know you have a question.
Tutor assistance for CECS 120, 130,and 220 is available primarily in the iTech Zone location, and assistance with College of Business CIS 100, & 300, and CIS 199 & 200 is primarily offered in the Ekstrom location.
CIS 100 & 300 students can stop by the Computer Resource Center any time and get assistance. However, some tutors have more experience with this content and have done well in the courses taken here at UofL. For your convenience, check the schedule of the times CIS 100 & 300 tutors are usually available in the Ekstrom Library location.
CIS and CECS Review Sessions
Tutor Assisted Group Sessions (TAGS) class review sessions are held twice each week for students taking CIS 199, 200, and 300. Additional Test review sessions are now offered for CIS 100, 199, and 200 classes as well as for CECS 121, 130 and 220 classes. The Review Schedules for CIS Courses and the Review Schedules for CECS courses are available on-line.
The REACH centers utilize UnipriNT which allows students to print as many pages as desired (no limits) for 11¢ per page. Students need to have money on their Cardinal Card ID in order to print. Money can be added at several locations across campus.
Headphones are available for checkout at the tutor's desk simply by asking. If headphones are not returned when a student leaves the center, a reminder email will be sent.
Laptops are available for checkout in the iTech zone, ask the tutors for more information.
