Graduate Student Assistantships

REACH is accepting applications for the 2015-16 Graduate Student Assistants. The online application for these GSA positions will be active until March 20, 2015.

The application form, transcripts, and letter of intent are due by March 20, 2015. Interviews are selective. (Offers will not be made until both recommendations are received.)

Interviews for current applicants will be held March 23rd through April 10th. Applicants selected for first offers for GSA positions will be notified beginning April 20, 2015.

Application Requirements

Graduate students applying must be full-time students accepted into a degree-granting program for the full academic year, 2015-16 (fall and spring semesters).

Applicants are required to have earned 3.0 cumulative GPA during their undergraduate career (or most recent full-time graduate semester).

Applicants need to be available to begin GSA responsibilities August 10, 2015 and be able to continue these responsibilities through the last Friday in May, 2016.

 To apply, submit all of the following materials:

  • Application form, using either the on-line form or the printed form.
  • Send two letters of recommendation
  • Send an official transcript of all undergraduate work, and all graduate work completed (if you did not receive your undergraduate degree and/or your graduate degree from University of Louisville)
  • Send a letter of introduction and intent detailing how the applicant can be of service to REACH.
