Monday, November 27

UofL Free Store: Come enjoy a totally FREE, no-stress holiday shopping experience. 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Unitas Tower basement. Repeats on Wednesday, November 29 and Monday, December 4.

Tuesday, November 28

Kick-Off to Finals Blitz: Free snacks, drinks, and information about REACH resources to help you prepare for finals! 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Strickler Lobby; 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Ekstrom Library.

Wednesday, November 29

Meat & Potatoes: I Love You, Man: Come to our final Meat & Potatoes event of the semester to discuss hot topics in the news. Plus, join our celebration and warm send off to our amazing December graduates. 7:30 – 8:30 p.m., Cardinal Towne - The Avenue.

Crafts & Coffee: LGBT Center invites all students to take a break from studying with us to color, collage, etc. and enjoy a hot cup of coffee. Sponsored by UofL's LGBT Alumni Network. 9:00am - 5:00pm, Red Barn (Enter to the right under the awning that reads "Intersection")

UofL Farmers' Market Holiday Bazaar: Come load up on locally-grown and handmade holiday gifts from our UofL Farmers' Market vendors and other local artisans! 12:00 – 3:00 p.m., Red Barn.

Keep Your H.E.A.D. Up: Recharge before finals...and keep your H.E.A.D. up! Come out and learn how to manage stressors, while enhancing your well-being to be the best you can be—mind, body, and soul. Food provided. Open to all! 5:00 p.m., Cultural Center.

Friday, December 1

Garden Commons Workshop—Wreath-Making: Harvest herbs and combine them with other campus plants to make delightfully fragrant holiday wreaths! No prior experience necessary. Tools and gloves provided. 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Garden Commons at the Cultural Center.

Sunday, December 3

UofL Community Composting Volunteer Day: Take a study break and help us turn “trash” into treasure as we manage UofL’s community composting operation. Dress to get dirty. Tools provided. 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., 250 E. Bloom St. (one block north of Cardinal Blvd.).

Monday, December 4

Finals Fest: Relax and rejuvenate with FYI, SAB, and other campus partners as you prepare for finals. Enjoy FREE food, giveaways, massages, and stress-relieving activities. 6:30 p.m., Ekstrom Library Lower Level.

Finals Lock-In: Need a space to study or unplug? Drop in to study alone or in groups and take advantage of free coffee, tea, snacks, and massages. Finals supplies (such as pens, pencils, bluebooks, and scantrons) are available on a first-come, first-served basis. 7:00 p.m. Mon – 9:00 a.m. Tues, Cultural Center.

Tuesday, December 5

Calm Café: Free food, massage, quiet study space, tea, coffee, and more! 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., SAC W309K.

It’s a Potluck!: The Hispanic/Latino Initiative (HLI) and the UofL Latino American and Hispanic Student Association (LAHSO) will host a potluck with music but also have quiet spaces for studying. Bring a dish to share! 12:00 – 4:00 p.m., Cultural Center.

Quiet Study Space at Health Promotion: Come to Health Promotion for a quiet study space, coffee, and tea. 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., SAC W309. Repeats Thursday and Friday.

Friday, December 8

Quiet Garden Commons Workday: Join us in UofL's organic garden for our last workday of the semester! Enjoy the last of this year’s harvest and help us get the garden and greenhouse ready for winter. No experience necessary. Tools & gloves provided. 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Garden Commons at the Cultural Center.
